When I arrived at Nomads I figured this was a pretty new hostel, which makes it really clean and tidy. The hostel is centrally located in Byron and everything you need – clubs, beaches and shops- is just in walking distance. The hostel has a nice kitchen and balcony and a good movieroom, perfect for any flash- and backpacker!

Arts Factory
The Arts Factory is definitely my favourite hostel so far. I had the awesome Lakeside Cottage which had its own kitchen and bathroom and own veranda. The place tends to attracts ‘ hippies’ which makes the atmosphere really great and peaceful. There are a lot of things to do here, like talentshows and didgeridoo lessons and there is swimming pool. The hostel is a 10 minute walk from the city, but in return you will get a place with a lot of trees and naturally looking campsites. If you like Byron, you will certainly like the Arts Factory!

X-Base Sydney
I’m convinced all the BASE hostels are pretty awesome. This time I got a 6bed-dorm with our own bathroom, and it was really clean again There is a crazy bar next to BASE, the place to be for some memorable nights out! I got the helpful cityguide again and the hostel is really centrally located. Definitely recommendable!

Bounce Hotel
Bounce Hotel in Sydney is rated by Hostelbookers for number 1 backpackershostel of Australia and I can completely agree with that. The hotel is centrally located, the staff superfriendly, the rooms ultraclean and the rooftop terrace is the ultimate chill-out place. Breakfast is included and you get a half hour of free high speed internet. The hostel has a movieroom and all the facilities you need as a backpacker. Check it out yourself if you don’t believe me
